Personally, I like my jägers slightly animalistic, so that informs my headcanons.

I imagine jägers touch each other a lot as a pack bonding thing. Making sure everyone is still there. In practice this usually shows up as shoulder punching, playwrestling, or just semi-accidentally brushing each other

In sleeping arrangements, taking into account that sharing beds in a platonic way was much more common back then, you´d end up with piles of sleeping jägers. (In camp, this would also serve to keep them warm.)
